Elementar presents two new drying agents with indicator for elemental analysis:
the EAS WETSORBER® for CHNO detection and the EAS WETSORBER® S for sulfur detection as well as for all isotopic elemental analyzer measurements for δ2H, δ13C, δ15N, δ18O and δ34S. The new drying agents are powerful in-house developments as replacement for Sicapent®, which is no longer available on the market. The ready for use water absorbers can directly be applied as delivered.
The advantages at a glance:
- Ready for use and free flowing granulate: non sticky for faster and easier tube filling.
- Maintenance intervals: EAS WETSORBER® offers an up to twice as long drying tube lifetime compared to Sicapent®, EAS WETSORBER® S drying tube lifetime equals Sicapent®.
- Consumption indicator: orange indicator turns white and then dissolves when depleted.
- Non-corrosive: no formation of phosphorous acid for safer handling.

Important note for rapid N exceed® and rapid N cube users: The EAS WETSORBER is also very suitable here, but due to the physical nature of the material, the device cannot pass the leak test if the drying tubes are filled with EAS WETSORBER. An application advice for the correct execution of the leakage test in the rapid N exceed with EAS WETSORBER can be found under Downloads.
Before starting the leakage test, empty dry pipes must be installed.
